Open to commitments

In Indonesia, the congregation is growing and in the Netherlands, women find their way to the community as well. After all, here too the Congregation Dochters van Mary en Joseph is open to women who are seeking spirituality and community spirit. Women who – to a greater or lesser extent – have a need for spiritual deepening through prayer, discussion, study and meditation, and preferably in a community of kindred spirits.

House of Spirituality
Are you one of these women? Then join the House of Spirituality, which was established in 2010 in the mother house in ’s Hertogenbosch. Inspired by the Gospel, you can make your own personal way there, in the field of leading, living together, and hospitality. You can also attend meditations, Bible groups, lectures, singing evenings and services in the chapel. In this way, the congregation is offering you the spirituality you are seeking in your daily life.

Further commitment
The education the House of Spirituality is offering you, can lay the foundation of a further commitment to the congregation. With that, you can think of an associated membership or, if you feel a call to religious life, actually joining the congregation. The latter, however, would require careful preparation beforehand.
